DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been penalized 25 NASCAR Nextel Cup championship driver points, fined $10,000 and put on probation until June 1 for intentionally spinning out during Sunday's Food City 500 at Bristol (Tenn.) He was busted though and he knew it. He has the best attitude in the world though. Nothing else he could do but laugh about it and move on. It still worked out in his favor anyway. He would have gone a lap down and been probably finished with less points then he did with the penalty.
