Well believe have nothing to brag about.

Well to start off I put a new timing chain in my can and never timed it. Headed to the track ran

15.4
15.3
15.0

Brought it home put in 373s,Pro Form electric fan, pulleys, race alt, shortie belt, and an Eaton differential w/the gear swap.

Bought a timing light, and the timing was 12* retarded

advanced it 14* and it was like adding 25hp. Went to the track in Oct for one last run launched out of the hole and smoldered the tires.

Never got another run in. The car is an automatic I figure it'll run 14.5s with the set up thats in it right now, I just have to learn how to drive it there.

Well went to the track Sat. night 12.22 was my fastest time . I am running out of fuel pump on the high end of forth gear and had to let off about 200 feet before the end of the 1/4 mile.60ft time also sucked 1.89 we are going to play with the pinion angle alittle see if we can't help that problem out .I still think she has 11"s in there, she pulles like a MOFO.

Posted by: KrazyPony

that is just AWESOME man, I am sure that is no small achievment for how long it took to get there, congrats on the 487rw

Posted by: revmaynard02

my best was 15.73@ just under 86mph. .126 rection time is my best R/T ever. Best 60' is 2.1 and yes its a pre 99 V6.

Posted by: FastFord87

Used to run 13.9@107 2.20 60ft., till the #8 rod decided it had enough. *SNAP* Stock short block, ported E7's, TFS street heat intake, stock tb, BBK pulleys, K&N panel filter, bumped timing, MAC longtubes, 2 1/2 in. pipe, 2 chambers with dumps. Oh yeah, stock 2.73's also. Building a juiced 408 and a c4 for it now.

Posted by: HotRodGirl

So far I have gone a 10.22 at 134 mph with a yucky 1.43 60ft, and thats on only 10 lbs of boost on the Paxton. Just got finished installing a new cog wheel set up cuz I kept slipping belts, and we were able to up the boost to 18 lbs of boost. Put the car on the dyno yesterday and got 100 more horsepower to the wheels out of the car. So I am definitly going in the 9's next time I run her!

I'm only running a beef up 289 right now but last year I was running 12'52's to 12'54's all year long thought that was pretty good for a mickey mouse motor threw to together. But next year will be running a dss motor and should be running mid 10's but with nos should be somewhere in the 9's.
