Posted by: Rick Sample Very nice Ideal....We need some of those kinda cruises up here! Posted by: MustangLady90GT I will be there so long as I don't have to work. The toys are already bought and if I can't get off, I know you will take them there for us. Posted by: bones90gt Anyone else in the area coming out??!!!! Posted by: MustangLady90GT Well it was a cool windy but beautiful day. The turnout was nice and really more than I expected, just wish more peeps would have came there. Atleast the kids that wouldn't have anything for Christmas will have a little something now. Posted by: ExBamaGal I had to work
Posted by: KrazyPony Kinda far for you to drive for this event Tiff, but I know you had good intentions non the less
Posted by: ExBamaGal I would have like to be there either way lol. I can't find anyone around here that does stuff like that
Posted by: MustangLady90GT You can set something up like this in your area. Just go to a local resturant and see if they would be will to let you set up a cruise-in there to collect toys, food or blankets for those in need in that community. When you get a place willing to work with you as far as having it, get flyers and spread the word by telling people you know to pass it along. It really isn't that hard to get things set up. Let me tell you, it is a GREAT feeling to know you are doing something to help someone who needs it. Hope you give it a try and you have a GREAT turn-out with it. Posted by: ExBamaGal You know, that really isn't a bad idea MustangLady. I think I could handle it. Only thing is, I wish I could have thought of it earlier. I'm going out of town in less than a week to visit my family so I don't have time to do anything right now. I will, however, keep this in mind and definately try to set something up for next year. Thanks for the idea Posted by: bones90gt Tiff, Ya coudl still do something for the needy when you get back in town. There is a group that collects Blankets for the homeless. or a food drive to help others out. When you set something up, Let us know..And i'll see how many BMC members I can round up for the cause
Posted by: MustangLady90GT If you decide to try to set something up, let us (Bones or myself) know and we will do whatever we can to help you. We have worked together setting up numerous things to help charities and love to do these things to help others. Anyway, just yell at us if you need help with setting anything up
Posted by: ExBamaGal Thanks a ton guys. When I get back into the swing of things after this long vacation I just had I may try to set something up and I'll let you know if I do. In the meantime...I need to sign up for BMC lol. Posted by: MustangLady90GT Come on over and sign up...BMC is a great bunch of people and we love to get new members ![]() You should try to set something up your way so we have a reason to come to NC besides a dyno night..lol.
