Mustang Monthly has printed some " HOW-TO" articles but, never gave inforrmation about speeometer cable or back-up light switch. Has anyone has completed this conversion ? I prefer not to do any cutting on the floor panel...Thanks Posted by: 12second5.0 Quote:
Posted by: 12second5.0 Oh I almost forgot. If you have the 289 or a 302 you will have to use a 289 flywheel which is 157 tooth or if you already have a late model 5.0 you just use the existing flywheel. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me as I did this conversion before they ever were making kits. Posted by: boss66tcode Mustang and Fords has done several articles on the swap, I'll see if I can find the issue. I've heard (haven't done this) that going to the clutch cable makes room for power brakes if you want to add them. I think there is custom crossmember too.
