November 6, 2004 - Jackson, SC "SCMC on Track"

The SCMC will be having it's Fall shootout at Carolina Dragway in Jackson, SC. Take your Mustang, SVT Cobra, or Ford and see what it will do against the clock. There will be trophies and more to be given away at the bracket racing ceremony.

This event is open to all makes and models.

my friend had gotten his best of 11.7 @ 120 mphr in his 03 Cobra in the 1/4, and there was this huge vette with dual twin turbo setup on it, and was pushing 3500rwhp ( but this was there slow car! ) and they were there tweaking it since it basically a brand new setup they were testing out, and the best run for it was 4.9 @ 160mphr in the 8th, werent permitted to run the entire 1/4 with those cars since there isnt enough road at the end of the turn off to allow them to slow down!

we had a great weekend thats for sure, never thought I would have sunburn in Nov. from the sun in my life!
