So I know there is Tasca day out there on the 5th, and I'll include it in the possible dates but it's a busy day at the track with the show and the official event....so it might make sense to just do a test and tune instead. Who would be interested and which date would work best? this wouldn't be until the end of Sept or first half of Oct to take advantage of the nice cool air. My vote goes for 10/18, the dates below are some of the test and tune dates..feel free to suggest another one. I didn't go too deep into October as the weather tends to be unstable and NED does 1/8 mile when it gets cold Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Quote:
Posted by: masscobra03 Whenever for me. Posted by: jmac72187 I am good for any Saturdays. September 27th and October 18th for me. Posted by: slowpony The october 18 looks good, I have plans for october 5, I'll be at tasca running my car.... Posted by: ToplessPony94 I don't know that I'd do anything with my own car, but I'd love to at least watch. Doubtful I could make any other date than October 18th. Posted by: MCRPARTS Hell I might even be in for my own damn event LOL Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE I'll believe it when I see it ![]() Make an MCRPARTS Test-n-tune trophy!!! You know what I'm talking about!! Posted by: Xerxeese I may be in.... Posted by: badass98svt Ya Tony, let's see the MCRParts trophy Posted by: slowpony Cool, just do it.. its good.. Will you run your car?? Posted by: 1BADSNK Any day but 10/5. I just found out that I have to work that day. ![]()
Posted by: PULNGZ This is a great idea, as I was looking to do this regardless. *NOTE* To Mr. Mach_1 (JIMBO)..........Great opp to get your car down the track. We want to see the new VP of NHMC......run down the Track!!!!!!!!!!! Do it, Do it!!!!!! Posted by: TorchRedSVT good response so far.....i'll keep this open atleast until the end of next week so as to give people time to plan accordingly. Right now 10/18 seems to be the best date tony, it would be AWESOME if you were to run your car. Sorry to use the MCR parts name but it was all I could come up with at the last second. Posted by: Jarhead46 I dont know what I'm doing tomorrow so I have no idea whats going on 2 months from now so I may or may not be there. Posted by: bullitt5177 Quote:
"I have drill."
Posted by: lxfiveo BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! I don't care what day....don't work weekends and am always up for a track event!! Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Quote:
This might be my chance to finally beat Steve!!! Posted by: Jarhead46 LOL I might actually havent looked at that far ahead. Posted by: Jarhead46 Just looked at my drill schedule and guess what I have drill on the 18th lol Posted by: Xerxeese Quote:
LOL why am I not surprised !! Posted by: lxfiveo How...you borrowing a Renegade car for the day? You'd have to hire a driver too Ed! lolI am bringing the converter back down to Ultimate this week. Eric put an additional cooling cannister in the car so it holds about 12 quarts of tranny fluid now (the second reservoir is in back of the car so that there is plenty of circulation for the fluid). The tranny is generating no heat anymore, except when I am standing on the transbrake for 10-12 seconds to build boost, which is due to the fact the converter is too tight. We had to make it tight to solve the heat problem, but the heat problem is gone now, so loosening the converter will let me spool up fast. Eric was also kind enough to throw the Weldon from his race car on mine since my Weldon would never support 25-30#'s of boost (for those that saw me make my one pass in True Street, you may have heard me cut out three times during my pass, which was the pump not being able to keep up with the 25# setting). Precision says the setup I have is good for 1350 hp, but they also warned me I can kiss my Lentech goodbye!! lol May be time to go to a turbo 400 and skip OD....with 3.27's in the car now you can comfortably cruise the highway in 3rd gear, so OD may not be necessary. All I know is one of these street nights soon spectators are in for a treat!!
Posted by: Mustang5L5 Let me know when that night is. I've always wanted to see an airplane run the 1/4 mile Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Quote:
As this really wise Turbo car driver once told me, "Dyno numbers don't matter if you can't do it on track" All I need is one miscalculation on your part and you guys will never hear the end of it!! Posted by: MCRPARTS Quote:
![]() It's cool and flattering that you guys would take it upon yourselves to do an event like this.I would do more events and stamp my name on it,but treading water over here like everyone else right now.
Posted by: jmac72187 We should all rep MCR apparel and sticker that day so that everyone at the T&T sees it and checks out the site. Posted by: MCRPARTS Quote:

I'll do that , no problem ! Tony, I never did get the window banner from you
Posted by: TorchRedSVT Quote:
I'd be more than happy to throw a windsheild banner on my car for this event. If you have stickers i don't think anyone woudl be opposed for putting on thier car for the day to help out. I post on SVT tons, ill throw your link in my sig. Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Quote:

Nice swirl marks!!! Posted by: TorchRedSVT bump...im going to close the poll this week and probably start another thread in Oct for this Posted by: TorchRedSVT bump....anyone still interested in this? I am still planning to go as my schedule just opened up Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE I'll be in RI. Hope you guys get some nice cool passes in!! Posted by: jmac72187 I might be. I was planning that cruise/photo shoot that day. Maybe we could do it as one event. I don't know that I will run. I sold my DR's. Posted by: TorchRedSVT we could make a day of it...spend the first half at the track...second half going for a cruise Matt, test and tune is treated as it's own class that day...so we'd be called up to run during whatever event is going on that day. Reason for going on a saturday as opposed to a street night is the track is properly prepped and # of runs you'll get in. Posted by: 1BADSNK If I can get the rear cover bracket on before then I would like to go. Bracket should be in on friday. So its just a matter of finding a night I can get it on my father in laws lift. Any word on the format?? Never been ![]()

Posted by: TorchRedSVT gates open at 8am...look likes thats a CMDR day as well so the track will be packed. Posted by: pony281 its also a quick street make up weekend Posted by: jmac72187 Sounds too busy for me haha. Posted by: 1BADSNK Ian, I wont be able to make it next weekend(18th). The car is going under the knife that weekend in hopes to be ready for dyno day. I wanted to get things done this weekend but it just didnt work out.
Posted by: TorchRedSVT No worries bro, as we talked bout yesterday, my plans for this weekend have changed as well and I won't be in attendance. Posted by: EastCoast5.0 I wont be there either now that CMDR is there. I'm going up the 25/26th.
