1BadSnke and Ozz got top 20 awards, I got best Cobra. 2 Days in the sun with alot of fun but FFW didn't feel the same this year..

I am happy to report that all my brake dust cleaning paid off......as I captured a "Top 20" award with the 07 Shelby GT500.

I'll post up some pics and video after I upload them.....

Mark, I want to do a MCRPARTS trophy for one of these shows,it'll go to the best Fox. I want to do a 4' trophy made from beer cans. LOL

Reviewing pics of the weekend I love this one, as it truly captures the scene. I call it "Silent Madness" based on hearing cars doing burnouts & ripping down the 1/4-mile for 2-days straight.

I've seen alot of different racing but this weekend was my first time at the drag strip. WOW, cool stuff. It was a nice suprise to get an award for top 20 on Sunday. After looking at all the cars I really didnt see that coming. Next year I think I'd like to play on the track.

I have a ton of questions about it so at some point maybe someone can help answer some of them.

both shows were great! excellent weather....cobra didnt like the heat and i went through 16 bags of ice this weekend but hey....im happy!!!

that yellow turbo 4v fox better have won something...that was a very serious car.

Actually it was a "Lexus" color......only offered for one one year

CE Racing built that engine (It is an impressive Arrangenment)

Congrats to the award receipients, Jake for taking runner up in Mod-Comp, and overall it was a straight up "FUN" weekend and great to see all the regular.....lastly thak's PJ for the LEMONADE!

Dave, I missed you all day long.....as I made my rounds. I'd didn't bring my 92 Convert (PULNGZ)....so I had my Sonic Blue 07 Shelby GT500 Convertible instead. (I WILL HAVE PULNGZ at the "TASCA show instead. I did see the Sonic Cherry "As I needed to change my shades to something DARKER so that I could veiw your engine bay. It looks like you have been busy in there......

Bob..maybe it is just me, but I dont think driving a 600+ horsepower car and shooting a video is a good idea
