Looks like quite the capable little unit

DVD/CD/MP3/Ipod/GPS/G-force/accelerometer/bluetooth/rear-view cam

Xmas gift maybe?

Jim G has one and my friend also has one. The only thing I thought was a little weird was the fact that you have to use a CD for navigation. That means you can't listen to a CD while you use nav. If you have an iPod that won't be a problem though.

But it doesn't have a detachable face... I almost bought one of these right up till I saw mine reviewed somewhere in a thread about people getting AVIC's stolen in NYC.... Besides, I also agree with the DVD nav being not like a Garmin (also not portable betwwen vehicles) and taking up the dvd slot when in use was a no no for any unit.. poor lil johnny or Brock wouldn't of been able to watch the fast-n-furious DVD while on the road then.

Besides the Nav unit being MIA, my unit has more to offer I feel (besides the detachable face)... and I got it a bit cheaper than the AVIC.

I wish these units were cheaper. I would love to get one. They look so much cleaner because they don't have the buttons. $600+ in suspension would be so much better though.

I want one...but i'm worried about theft. I kinda like how nobody wants a stock Mach 460 so they don't want to steal my radio. This one...would prob get stolen in a year eaily

Hence, my decision for the JVC unit...

And I've never seen Pioneer as top end anyways.. Never was really a fan back in the day with supertuners even...and I've have good friends in the Car Audio business for years that always stayed clear of thier products.. And the amps were radio shack quality at one point..

Always had Blaupunkt or Alpine when I chose aftermarket stuff.
