FFW: Cruise(s) from "The Rock" at 8am

Ok, it's getting late, so we need to get this finalized a little bit.
If you plan on cruising to FFW from the Rock, please respond in here.
Please let me know Saturday OR Sunday or both.
For anyone new to the site, the Rock is the Rockingham Mall in Salem NH. It's located right off exit 1 on 93. We meet UNDER the overpass that takes you to the Mall. Simply get off exit 1, and drive under the overpass. Then take your first legal left at the lights. It will take you into a big empty lot. Lookm to your left and everyone will be under the overpass.
For Sunday I plan on heading to the Rock for 8am
I'll get a couple lists started, if you plan on meeting up at the rock, let me know what day so we can get a list going. We don't want to leave people behind in the morning.

I leave here Saturday and then I have to leave my house around 4
0PM for a concert in Mansfield. I probably won't be back from that until like 10AM. I have to find some time to detail the car if I am doing to either of the events. Hopefully I can get home around noon on Saturday and get a good detail in for the show.
I will let you know though.

I am out as far as Saturday goes, I have a birthday party / family cook out at the house..
Working on the plan for Sunday and will have a better idea in the next day or so... I will update as soon as I work things out..

I just got off the phone with ED and I got a change of plans for Sunday.
Ed and I are going to mmet up with you guys at the Rock on Sunday so put us down on the list.. And I convinced Ed to take his Car !!!!
See everyone there..
And I love 111 , especially the cottages on the lil lake we drive by.. great choice

Weather is not looking good for Sat.
I'm still going to go..but downpours and t-storms forcasted for later in the day.
I've gotta meet up with some guys for some misc fox parts anyway..plus i want to hit the swap meet. Looking for 5.0 stuff

I was just told today that I am in a wedding next year and there is an "engagement brunch" on Sunday morning to tell both families of the engagement. I won't be there until later in the afternoon.

Right now it's just some used mechanical stuff like a T-5 bellhousing and clutch fork and i need to check out some seats someone i know is selling out of their car.
Will you have any Late-model interior stuff there?
I'll swing by to check stuff out. I just don't have anything specific on my plate yet.

I can see doing that with 20+ cars, but with 10 cars I don't think we need to be blocking intersections during red lights.

It is definitely a fun little jaunt. We do this 2-3 times a year. 111 is a nice ride.

the weather on saturday is going to be like every other weekend we have had this year...plan for there to be a t-storm.
As long as its not raining when I drive there I am fine..if it rains whileI am at the show the car can easily be wiped down.

Can I hitch a ride with anyone for Sunday? I would like to just ride and be the photographer for the cruise.
My car won't be ready to go because I will just be getting back from Vermont. I can get up at anytime that morning.

The weather outlook... today, 65-75, scattered showers, chance of t-storms this evening, tomorrow,70-80 am showers possable, chance of pm showers and t-storms, sunday, 75-85, mostly sunny. The weather looks like it has all summer!!!, wet and depressing

I just drove through burlington. It was weird...70MPH on Rt 3..sunny out and then 1 mile ahead all you see is a line where the sun stops, darkness starts and a wall of rain. When i hit it, it was like driving into a car wash at 60MPH!

Still raining here.. And tis evening was screwy.. If I went down the street one way it was dry, but going the other way was full of puddles... literally withn 1/2 mile of my house in several directions there were different conditions adn then huge t-storms came through a short time ago...

Man I wish I could go to this I've been trying to get to FFW for the past few years. Seems like things happen on this weekend that can't be changed. I have to find out next years date and mark it on the calender and try not plan anything. Can't wait for Funspot. Have fun guys.

are u kidding....now im pissed...prob couldda got some shakedown runs in...it was raining so bad here i couldnt see down my driveway 50 feet.

Yes Mike, Exit 1. But don't take the mall road. You go under it, then take a left about an 1/8 mile down. into the big empty lot for the horse track.

I got there today around 1:30 and hung until about 4:30 when I gave up because it started to rain again...
Sat in the far stands today for the first time in over 20 years going to NED and WOW..Saw a dude in a black Notch go sideways at the traps...going 100ish almost hit the jersey barrier in the left lane and then sideways again...almost took out the Fox in the right lane next to him and then sideways again and he finally got the tires to bite and he saved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife looks at me and says...See this is why I dont like you racing anymore

Good turn out today, with a nice variety of Mustangs on hand. I drove in from the rockwith a group of about 12 cars and arrived at NE Dragway about 9am. Bugged out about 4:30-5pm as racing was stopped due to weather. Not sure if they concluded the days evens or not.
I should be back Sunday AM for more!!!!

The bad ass car (which wasn't even a car) award of the weekend goes to the Renegade '93 Lightning!!!! What a monster!! Snapped off a 9.00 on Sunday at 158 mph before snapping his input shaft....all from a 4200# behemoth!! See....now you guys know that it isn't just me.....big HP + big weight = ALOT of broken trannies!!! lol

bummer steve, did you end up running at all on Sunday? I know you had planned on doing a bit of bracket racing. I left at 1:30 and hadn't seen ya run yet.
BTW, for all the people concerned with the "all brands" class....I think there were maybe 10 cars competing that weren't fords. It was just one small brackett class and none were allowed on the show feild.
