![]() Yes, we had to change the date unfortunately since our contact at Hoffman Frod will be in NYC the original weekend for a wedding where he is the best man and obviously I couldn't ask them to change that. Hope you all can make it again, we have two excellent charities who will benefit from the event Posted by: Snkypete We're just three weeks away from what is set to be our best show yet! LMMC-CT is proud to announce : *The Saleen Club of America (www.saleenclubofamerica.com) and Roush Owners and Enthusiasts Association (www.goroush.com) will both be present at the show. Both groups have sponsored classes at the event and will have informational displays setup. *We have added more sponsors! KDezines, Billings Soda Blasting, and B&G Turbo are now supporting the event. With 23 classes and over $4000 in prizes available, the event is a great opportunity to come show off your ride and support our two excellent charities for the day....we hope to see you there! Posted by: 1BADSNK Looks like a cool show......count me in.
Posted by: 1BADSNK I will be taking I-91 down. Anyone else taking I-91??? Maybe we could meet up & ride down.
Posted by: Snkypete There is a large group of people coming from the Enfield area, not sure where they are meeting though. I believe they're meeting up with the group from Springfield too. Posted by: TorchRedSVT Quote:
our group wil more than likely be getting there from route 84 to 91. As the date gets closer we may be able to coordinate. Posted by: Ozz If anyone wants to meet up in Enfield/Springfield I'll be heading down from the line between. Just get in touch, we can convoy down! Posted by: TorchRedSVT Hey guys, I am out for this show. I just looked at the calendar today and realized I have a wedding the night before and won't be in any shape to get up to this. Posted by: Snkypete The responses have been great for the event and we are really excited! Bring the family out for a fun filled day and don't forget to visit XSPaint's vendor booth where kids will be able to get temporary airbrused tattoo's. As always, we are actively watching the weather in the event of inclimate conditions and any decision to postpone the event will be made on Saturday and posted in this thread and on our site but we are hoping the front comes through the area quickly. Posted by: Snkypete It is with great reluctance that we have decided to postpone the car show scheduled for tomorrow, 9/28 and we will now hold the event on our rain date of Sunday, October 12th - TWO WEEKS from now. Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated and the forecast has hasn't improved, but has actually gotten worse due to the Nor'easter on the way. Therefore the staff has decided that hosting the event, even with a slight chance of dry weather tomorrow, would result in a significant decrease in attendance which is not in the best interest of the club, our sponsors, charities or participants. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope everyone can join us on October 12th for a day of fun for our hobby and our club. Posted by: Mr03mach1 Hi Pete, I'm sure this sucks for you guys but I couldn't make the original date,,,,, I can however make it to the Oct 12th show! I will start a new thread and try to round up a few of the boys here. Posted by: Snkypete Much appreciated...nothing we can do about the weather - hopefully the 12th is nice and sunny! Posted by: Snkypete We're just four days away from the show - the weather looks like it is going to cooperate this time! We're happy to announce that due to the rescheduled date, we will have additional vendors on hand so even if you cannot enter the show, come out for the day to check out what they can offer you and for special show discounts. Additionally we've received even more raffle prizes from our sponsors including MAC Tools and KDezines Rear Seat Deletes! Support two GREAT charities and have a fun filled day - we hope to see you there!
