need opinions guys and gals on rims...help! lol

Well im shopping for rims but i cant figure out what kind i want. There are so many i like and just cant narrow it down. Attachment 9658
this is my car. before being lowered but its the best pic i have.
The ones i really like are 18" saleens, 03/04 cobra's with a 10.5" rear. I really have a thing for black wheels so thats prob goin to be the color but i just cant decide. Any suggestions would be great. lol

If you want black, I like the Saleen SC replicas but with black centers and 10.5 rear deep dish...

Dude, just go with deep dish Bullitts. In black, if you must -- but I think the silver/anthracite Bullitts are the best looking rims the factory ever put on Mustangs.

If my Cobra didn't have the 10th Anniversary rims, it would be wearing DD Bullitts.

Oh -- I forgot about these -- Shelby 10 Spoke replicas. They're pretty kick ass too, especially with a set of tri-bar hubs...

I had my heart set on hypercoated FR500's for my car. Unfortunately i'm trying to sell it, so i never got around to buying a set

The black Bullitts are on Tim's car.
My car is a black 97 COBRA with 18" Chrome Saleens.

so there are a few choices for 18" black wheels....

as seen above, can't go wrong with the black bullit wheels, those are very nice.

Your other choices...black saleens, black FR500's. The nice thing about these two is the price....you can find them dirt cheap.

Lastly, if I ever was to replace my wheels, I'd do black 18" ford GT replicas with a red lip. Just as Langod said...that won't ever happen as I happen to love the 10th aniversary wheels.

As a side note, with 18'' wheels comes alot of unsprung weight...be prepared to have a little bit mushy brake pedal. First thing I did on my old car was upgrade my brakes.

Sounds very cool. You got a pic of those rims? I did a quick Google but didn't find any black with red ones....

Actually Jim I don't, I'd have to have them painted myself by a rim pro or someone of the like. The red line lips are starting to become more common though. I'll try and find an example

awwesome. thanks guys for all the feedback. ill prob just stick to 17's. I just looked at the price of 18 inch tires. hoooly crap. At least with the 17's i can go with a nice big 315 series tire on the back. those should be good to mate up with my 4.10 gears i just ordered.
