Course it exists! Don't listen to Ed!

Current state of the interior. I know it's a mess, but car hasn't moved in 4 years and i've been in and out of it. Sold off all the stock seats. 99+ leather seats going in. I'm going to put in all new black carpets, a new black headliner and replace a few broken trim peices prior to installing the seats for good. I also have a set of black seatbelts so i can finally replace the red belts.

There are a few subpar black interior peices that are a little dirty or scratched for my tastes, so i'll be buying new. I want this interior immaculate, and it has a long way to go. My standards for interiors has gone WAY up. If it looks questionable, it's getting replaced

I'm also putting sound deadener under the carpet, behind the door panels, behind the interior panels and under the headliner. I could care less about the weight. I want the car quiet and rattle free

I'll believe it when I see it at ED DAY!!!

It's coming along great, Mike!

Posted by: EastCoast5.0

Sweeeet.

Posted by: bullitt5177

Looks good Mike. Those red seatbelts do look way out of place.

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Got a lead on some front seats too now

Posted by: Mustang5L5

This is what the final product will look like

Posted by: badass98svt

Did you finish the seat install and seat belts? Or is that someone else's?

Posted by: Mustang5L5

That's someone else's car.

I wanna replace the carpets first and i haven't bought front seats yet. I am negotiating with someone now.

This week i plan on finishing the rear seat and hopefully installing the seatbacks this weekend

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Donor fox seats...what's left of them

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Modified SN95 seats using the Fox frame internally. They will bolt in now no prob

I should have them in this weekend with pics

Posted by: TorchRedSVT

nice work...can't wait to see the car on the road again

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Seat is done...easier than I thought it would be

Posted by: ToplessPony94

Lookin' great! Nice job!

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Thanks.

Did some work cleaning it up today. It's got a long way to go. I could probably drive it if i wanted, but it's nowhere near up to my standards.

Anyway....small teaser....all Ed will ever see

Posted by: badass98svt

Mike, those seats look great!
Will the seat belts come up through the holes in the seats?

Posted by: Mustang5L5

They will....when i buy rear seat belts

Looking for a set of 79-83 black lap belts...kinda hard to find

Haha...i ALWAYS have problems with that word. I don't know why. Been misspelling it for years

Posted by: badass98svt

Only the 79-83s fit? or did you mean 93?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ford-...mZ320283032687

Posted by: Mustang5L5

well only 79-83 has black LAP belts.

There was no black interior from 84-89 and in 1990-1993, they were rear shoulder belts.

So i need to look for lap belts as i'm not welding in the supports to put lap belts in a seat NOBODY will ever sit in again

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Just got my front seats. '01 Dark Charcoal leather fronts. I go pick them up this weekend.

Same seats as my 03...which i actually like go figure.

Did you see the guy at FFW selling all the used parts? He had a set of black belts.

I only saw shoulder belts.

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Check out what I picked up today

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Well, all done with the seats!

I started installing the steering wheel as well. It mounts up fine. I just need to get the horn to work. Shouldn't be hard, i have an idea

Posted by: badass98svt

Those look great Mike. Are they Charcoal?
I want to see the back seat too!

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Yes, 99-04 dark charcoal seats.

Interesting history these seats have. The person I bought them from bought them from Saleen in 2001. They were taken out of a GT that was transformed into a Saleen

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Tough to get a shot with the back seats with the fronts

Posted by: badass98svt

Oh wow, that IS cool. What did the guy have them in?

Posted by: badass98svt

BTW, the rears look 100% factory stock! Great job Mikey.

Posted by: Mustang5L5

He had them in this

Posted by: bullitt5177

Very good work Mike!! Looks damn good!

Posted by: bullitt5177

Damn, that fox looks sweet.

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Here's my tech thread on my trials of putting an Sn95 wheel into a fox
