Well right now i'd only be interested in Fox-specific parts. I'll have to think to see what I need for my 5.0.

I could use some Max Motorsports full lenght SFC's

Max motorsports stuff in general. CC plates are probably the biggest group buy thing from them. I am interested in a Panhard and stuff though.

How does the forum group buy work? It sounds interesting...

Posted by: Mustang5L5

You get a bunch of people to commit to buy and the more people, the lower the price drops.

SO say there is part that costs $100. If you get 5 people together, it might be $98. 10 people...$95. 15 people...$90 and so on.

Make sure you talk to MM before buying the panhard. They tend to have trouble with many after-market exhaust systems. They work well with stock. That's why I have the coil-overs but I don't have the torque arm kit. I would have had to slice and dice my Borla cat-back in too many ways to make it work. The MM folks are good about telling you what works and what doesn't.

I talked to them yesterday and they said that they can't guarantee that my Magnapack catback will fit. They said it might need modification. If that is the case, I am going to do a V6 bumper in the rear and just do dumps off the Magnapacks. I would like to keep the full exhaust, but I would rather have the handling.

I don't think that there is really an alternative to doing the Panhard that will provide the same handling.

A man after my own heart! But I love the sound of the Borla too much. I did the MM coil-overs on all 4 corners with MM RLCAs and my car handles like it's on rails. No body roll at all, and it corners like the Lotus I once owned. And the RLCAs let me get rid of goofy quad shocks, too. You may or may not need the panhard to get what you're looking for. If you're going to Mel's on 8/6 I plan to be there if you want to check it out.

I was planning on checking out Mel's this week. Could you take me for a ride that night?

I would like to do the panhard. I have the Bilsteins, but I don't have grooved ones in the rear for the coil-over set up. If the coil-overs get me what I want then I would like to keep the tail pipes if possible.
