The NEBOC Show Volunteer Thread

It's now less than 2 months to go and we need to start chatting up and making decisions about the show we run on Sept 20th.

Some typical discussions we need to get going on are:

Handing out flyers everywhere we can
Recruiting volunteer help for the show.
Trophy ordering and build night before the show
Travel Groups down to the show (who's riding with who)
Planning Meetings (more Kowloon Late Nights)
Food planning (hot dogs, buns, chips, drinks etc) and QTY's
DJ , raffles , 50/50

Instead of looking through the entire forum, let's try to keep it all in this one thread so we have a running count of what's going on and where we stand on progress for the show.

So post away in here about the show when you think of something.

I'm going to try and bring the car down for this one to support the show, but not to be judged in a class. If you need me to bring other things, then I will trailer the car down so that I have storage space as well.

I actually wont have drill this weekend and should be able to attend for a while, my shift is back to 4-mid as of this saturday so no more midnight shift for me

Great Steve.. The yellow bannana will def turn heads that day. We'll make a member display only area for this reason... I am not planning to enter the show either. But it is an open show for members who wish to do so.

I will not be able to attend the show. I am having surgery on Sept. 16th and will still be in the hospital on the day of the show. I will be available up until September 15th to help out.

You all are welcome to use my canopies (I now have 2, one is 10x20 the other is 10X23), my tables and of course the PA system. Someone will have to come by and pick everything up.
