Posted by: jmac72187 Why does it seem like the S197 production numbers are so huge? I see them everywhere and it seems like a lot more often than new edges now. Posted by: gilmar4 Great pics, couple nice four eyes! Good to see your back from Myrtle Beach, and real happy to see your post!! ![]() Keep em coming!! ![]() Jim G Posted by: ToplessPony94 Great photos Mark! You must have had a blast! Good to see you back (and back here). Posted by: TorchRedSVT Mark, Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Appreciate the post meet write up, helps to put some things in perspective!!! Quote:
Posted by: chachee52 ![]() Is that yellow car Gambit90Lx from this forum? I've noticed a couple of his postings and the sig. Kind of looks like his car!! Anyway, great picks!! I can only imagine the humidity and temp in Fl this time of year. They should do it more in the Fall or something, I'd be more apt to drive down for that. Posted by: only90s Is that yellow car Gambit90Lx from this forum? Ya that is him...I noticed a few of his posts on the Mustang Week Forum. re...S197...down south you can actually drive a Mustang all year long..so alot more people have them as DDs...I imagine...I would estimate at least 80% of the Mustangs were from South and North Carolina..imagine how many mods you could do if you did not have to have another car to drive in the winter ![]() re..Heat...I would also prefer the Spring or Fall, but they have been doing it in July for the last 7 years so I guess it works for them...if you are from the South you can take the Heat....just like we can take the cold
Posted by: masscobra03 I plan on doing it next yr. Didn't have the time or the funds to do it this year. Posted by: chinky Glad to see you made it back in one piece. Nice pics, even by the pics it looked hot out down their.Hope you had fun. Chinky Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Quote:
Lay off the crack!!! The Mustang is far from the saving grace of Ford Motor Company. Straight from MSNBC- Quote:
Posted by: EastCoast5.0 Nice pics, thanks for sharing Mark. Posted by: awwyea Drove the Cobra down this year...good Lord that was a tight fit with 3 people, luggage, 10x23 canopy, car detail supplies and the car cover. We had another spectacular week. I can't wait for next year. There is so much to see and do at Mustang Week. I placed in the Top 75 out of 250 cars showing again. The show is judged on a 100 pt scale. The top 75 have to score 95 points or higher. I have another Award of Excellence pretty lucite trophy to display next to last years. This year I judged some classes at the show. I had the California Special cars and some of the '05 - '08 cars. That was a tough field. I had a blast, but just about wore my feet out going back and forth across the show field. To give you all some perspective on how large the main car show is on Friday, picture the Wrentham Outlet Mall parking lot. The show takes up over half of that lot. We are talking HUGE !!!! I put the Cobra thru it's paces at the Myrtle Beach Speedway fun runs and did the autocross again. That is one hell of a fun time. This year, we got to have passengers on the track, so I took my daughter, and her two friends out for a bunch of passes around the track. They were hooting and hollering. I'll post up the videos sometime later this week. We need a much bigger representation from New England next year. This is the be all end all of Mustang events. I counted a total of 6 cars from MA this year at the event including mine. Better than last year when there were only two of us, but still not a big enough showing. We have some beautiful cars up here. We need to get a big group togther to go down next year. For those who think Carlisle is a fun time, Mustang Week blows it away !!! Posted by: LILBLKSNAKE Maybe Jim G will be ready for the all FOX cruise next year (I see one 4-eye hiding in there...
Posted by: only90s bump so PULNGZ can find easier...I am all about the convenience!!!!! Posted by: PULNGZ Mark, Nice Coverage on Mrytle. I sure love the Fox shots! KUDOS! I've been slow to get wound back up from my trip to Italy. PS: You've reminded me.....that I don't like passengers in the back seats of Fox's http://www.mcrparts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12871 Posted by: masscobra03 I WILL be going to this event next yr. Posted by: bones90gt Dang it's been a Looooonnnnggg time since I 've been over here..LOL Thanks for the pictures Mark. Now get yours and some more foxes to come down next year with you!!!! The first year we did the cruise we had 51 foxes, this year we had 64. In 2009 we are hoping for 100 Plus!!! Posted by: only90s Quote:
One of these days a bunch of us will most likely be down there for MW....I might need a year or so to get over the Heat Stroke though...us Northeners are not use to 95 degrees and dewpoints in the mid 70s...most of us take our AC out up here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Fox Cruise was my Favorite part of Mustang Week..other than family time with my wife and inlaws of course
