What kind of cable do i need?

I'm looking to watch Videos on mt TV that I currently have on my PC.

Like random car vids, movies, etc.

I'm assuming there's some sort of cable that I can buy.

Depends on the video output of your computer. You'll have to look. Many PCs have at least a s-video output. If it doesn't have a video output port aside from the monitor, then you're kinda out of luck, short of buying a new video card or getting one of those wireless streaming video systems.

why not just burn them to CDR/DVD's and play them on your DVD Player.

Alot simpler thats for sure, most current DVD Players will play almost anything especially a Apex $50 player, they rock!

Kinda depends on what connections your TV and Computer have. There are a few choices

Get a video card with DVI output (a cheap one will work for TV watching) and then a cable to connect to a HD TV and it's done.. Especially with the newer model HD TV's .. your PC with usually identify it as a monitor and your good to go...

DVI to HDMI (or DVI)? You'll also need a long 3.5" jack cable for audio.

OK, so HDMI to DVI. It's gotta be about 20 feet long or so. LOL
And the headphone cable should be easy to locate.
