RI ---> Oakland Beach Cruise Night .. TUESDAY

RI peeps... (or anyone lookin to roll )

I'm heading down to the water tonight and enjoy the Oakland beach cruise night by Wheels of Time .. It's the only one I know of that is on the water and has decent food.

I'll be there by 6pm.. If anyone wants to join up for the ride down let me know and we'll find a rendevous point (probably near the airport)

We had a severe thunderstorm warning here. Did you guys miss it??

We had clear skies the whole time.. not a drop of rain for once..

The place was packed.. They even had a sweet Ferrari 328GTS under one of the Gazebos. We saw Fred down there from Vegas. There were a bunch of stangs down there representing the blue oval including a Shelby done up with some nice aftermarket pieces..

Damego, Fred and I were all we saw for NEBOC last night and don't know if cobradrivr made it because it was so slammin down there.. We def gotta put together a bigger crew for hanging out down there some night.. we had perfect conditions with a breeze off the water and temps about 75. And there's food everywhere if you want to wait in line of course, as well as a few car stuff vendors.

This is going back on my to do list instead of A&W for Tuesday nights.

Much better than A&W on tuesdays. Not just old time cruisers. And the meatball sandwich wasn't bad either.

Yea it was packed. And i rolled through there kinda late, i wasnt in the mood to deal with traffic though so i just cruised through. Il be there early next week.

I'd like to sell my car. Nothing is wrong with it, I just want to start over. I'm not really happy with the results I got from all my hard work. and Its honestly all because I drove the Damegomobile!

My car has slowly but surely turned into a rough, 1/4 mile bashing monster. I really just wanted a nice driving, smooth running, very fast street car.

If I could do it all over again with my car. I would have stayed with a 302/306 and put some boost to it.

How about we meet in the Chili's UNo's plaza HOme Depot place on the other side of the road...

It's just an easier in and out, without having to deal with that shell station in traffic

We need a more open place to meet up at.. that CHili's was scary packed in the lot.. I did see that giant white gazebo down the hill from chili's.. Next time we might want to meet there. And remind me next time we will not do rt117... Rt 117 sucked for traffic.

And at least we got to see Steve's car on the road for all of 2 minutes yesterday.. Eric went by us on 295 and that was all.. So much for hangin with the beast last night. I guess he was deep in tuning mode for Steve.

Sorry , I couldn't stay guys . I stopped in there , Got a dough boy and dells lemonade . Then got a call From a customer that wanted to meet back at the shop . The place was pretty packed . Maybe next week.

No Prob Eric... We thought something was up.

There's always next Tuesday right, I think Steve's car needs another road/tune test before delivery..

We were gonna try to come in up RT117 behind you , but that traffic sucked.. I think when we pulled in, you had already left. Some people there saw the car and said " It sounded real healthy".. I said they don't know the half of it.. It's good to see it back on the road.

I seriously say we put together a big run there in the near future.. It has become the new "Garden City" night in RI.. there must of been 300 or more cars there easily as well as vendors and such.. I've never seen them almost fill the baseball field out back until now... There were rows of new/late model stangs in this field and I was impressed.. If we go next week, I'm gonna take pics.

no cruise there next week. they announced that last night.
it returns the following week. 12th.
I should be home too.

It was good to drive my stang again. and we did look cool with four stangs rolling down 295.
we dont want to meet by the gazeebo in smithfield either. they have bands playing back there on Tuesday nights. we should just meet at the apple valley mall lot. easier to get in and out. out in front of chelo's.

If anybody elso could make it down onthe 12th it is a good place. lots of cars and a good ocean breeze.

Steve your yellow beast sounds really good. And the smell of race fuel was invigorating.

YEP.. Apple Valley Mall is a great choice too.. Carol and I rendevous there for A&W.

Well Guys .. Who's down for the 12th (It'd be a great meeting before Fun Ford to talk about the upcoming weekend at NED).. I think the North SHore guys need to take a 1/2 day and drive on down.

I know Damego and I will have to go to a NHMC Londonderry in return.. Speaking of which, is there a Londonderry meet during FFW . I'd go to that after the show on Saturday for sure

It's still relatively quiet for effectively having a dump on it now! lol The dump can be capped though and the exhaust will route as it always has, which is perfectly fine for street use. But to run big boost, the dump needs to be open to take advantage of the 4" piping and the huge reduction in backpressure that it allows. Looking forward to seeing what all this equates to on the next time slip.
