Has anyone ever been to this??

I was online today looking for air shows to take the kids to, and I ran across this. Has anyone ever been to it??? I think I want to go, if I can talk Chris into it.

From the web page: "The air show begins at noon, weather permitting. Rob Holland will demonstrate the skills which have made him a national aerobatic champion in his MX2 monoplane."

I know Rob Holland, and I can tell you that if his aerobatic show is all you see it will be worth the trip. He placed #2 world-wide last year in the international competitions in Scandanavia. I would be there were it not for having surgery the day before.

I agree about Rob Holland, My friend has actually flown with him and he has done stuff for the Nashua Rotary Rib Fest and a bunch of air shows and he is unbelievable. The plane that he flies is awe inspiring just sitting on the ground too!!!
Haven't been to this show though. Sounds like a good show though.

We might take it with us, but thanks for the offer Ed. We will keep that in mind for the next time.(LOL)

Thanks for the info guys. All of us enjoy the airshows. Hopefully I will get a ride in a helicopter. I've never been in one before.

Does he do the the airshow at Nashua airport??? We went to that show a couple of years back. If he is the one, he is unbelievable. Jaw dropping stunts.

Yup, that's him.

He's based at the Nashua Airport. We are so lucky to have such a talent in the area! But he probably still had his bi-plane when you saw him before. He's even more unbelievable in the new MX2 monoplane.

What are you having done? Who's doing your surgery? I'm a PT in Merrimack and know all the surgeons in this area. I'll get that knee back so you can shift that car!!

Actually, I didn't say it was knee surgery. I'm having a kidney stone lasered and removed. Hopefully no PT required from that one! Thanks anyway.

(It sure is difficult shifting that car when I'm curled up around my navel, though!)

OOPS!! Sorry about that. I have knee surgery on the brain. The mind is a terrible thing to waste. If you need someone to chauffeur you around in your Mustang, I think people will be standing in line to help out.

I agree!! I hope no PT after either!! I've had to do PT on the scar tissue but it always hurts the patient and I'm not a big fan of it (not that you will be having a scare with the laser).

Thanks for the good wishes, folks. They do help. I'm heading over to the OR in a few minutes and hope to be home and groggy later today. Maybe back on here sometime this weekend.

For those who know or are interested in Rob Holland's aerobatic flying, mentioned in this thread, Rob has just won first place this year in the Advanced World Aerobatic Championships, the same international competition in which he took second place last year. See the story below:
