Nice !! I thought there were more pics out there...

And get Shelby the Power Wheels stang cause Ed said so.. You know all he wants is to drive it around like Jim's.. I think pics/vid of Ed driving in a pink one at a show would be perfect.

What??? You don't like Joe's 4x4 look??? j/k....it's really not that bad.

I speak from experience, lowering it makes it more difficult to drive with New England roads and driveways. Down south (like south of the mason dixion line) where the roads are better, it's not a big deal. Up here, I scrape all the time because of frost heaves and the asphalt bunching up in the middle of the road from the heavy trucks.

I have the MM coilover suspension and I lowered the whole car one inch. Now I even scrape the cats on the ramps of the parking garage at work. I'm leaving it that way, but it has its price. I can't use the parking garage, I do sometimes bottom out on frost heaves (the ones that forget to go down in the spring), etc. Thank god for that big brace/protector my vert has under the oil pan or I would be in big trouble.

But I definitely like the look of dropping an inch, which is why I suffer with it.

Lowered mine this year, about 2 inches is what it appears to be. I only scrape in my own driveway, and that is minimal.. I will be doing something about that (i hope) this year.

And Joe, the car = teh hotness !

I think, if the wheels were dark centered (not necc black, just darker) They would flow better (they DO look good, i just think it would look better)

I give it a 9.99 out of 10 :-D

joe definitly needs to lower the car.....too much wheel gap and the front end looks like its 3 feet off the ground. It's a vert and has super soft springs, and the 18 inch wheels exagerate it even more.

with my old GT, I had it lowered 1.5 inches all the way around and I had no issues scraping unless I wasn't paying attention. It's really not that bad

I cannot wait to put the new springs in my car in a few weeks, except I am doing it to get rid of some of the chassis slop from being a vert.

But i fear it will not make it in and out of my driveway once I do.. the way into my driveway is a small hill, and I know I only got ~4" from the chin spoiler to the ground when backing in uphill at an angle.. I measured it already

That means you can lower it 3.5"!
Get yourself some H&R SS springs and be done with it.
i'm LOW, and I only scrape on large speed bumps, and it just hits my mid pipe.

My capri is getting dropped 1 inch right now, just did the rear.

DANG IT!!! All the 4x4 talk got me to go look at mine from ground level. Yup..... I'm driving a truck too.

Just ordered some new springs that should be in within 7 to 10 days.

Good grief, I have to stop reading all this stuff.

hahahahha, dont worry man, youll be happy you did. The stiffer spring rates help out the IRS cars from the dredded wheel hop a bit.

which springs did you end up going with?

I ordered a set of Eibach springs. I beleive its a 1" front & 1.4" rear drop. I also have to order some caster/camber plates so I can replace them with the springs.
