Over the last couple days I painted the coil, coil bracket, and pwr steering pump flat black. Also painted the brackets and alt. silver. here are some pics. The pics arn't that great but let me know what you think. I'm going for the "new" look.

It looks way better than it did! Next up is the redoing the upper intake to get that red out of there.

Looking real good, Alex! It also looks quite familiar! But it's weird not seeing a strut tower brace there, since I've been looking at mine for so long now. LOL

Thanks a lot guys! It looks a bit better in person and I'm sure you guys will see it at some point soon.

Barry, shes about broken in and runs very well!! I might tune it sometime this summer but I'm in no rush right now, it's running great as is and I need to save up some $$.

Pj, thanks for the paint bro.

At some point I'll be getting a MM Strut tower brace.

what causes the red tint to the intake, was it red at one time?

That was my fault. Yea it was red (previous owner painted it red) and I rushed the prep. I didn't strip all the red out before it went into powder coat. There was only a SLIGHT tint of red on it but that was all it took to look like shit. lol

Here's a pic before it went into powder coat. When it baked in the over the red ran out.
