I thought that I recognized that pic as the italian mustang. I hope that Ford does better than that. Not a big fan.

Ugly as sin, IMO. I hope to God they don't make it like that, but at least we can be assured they'll change the side mirrors. There's no way they'd put a car into production with those things on there.

Yeah, that's the ugly ass Italian concept. It's got the Cow print interior.

Pretty sure that's just a photoshop of a GT500KR. Look at the bottom of the door on both pics. They have the same reflection in them. Also the Car and Driver "2010 Stang" is rolling on GT500KR wheels.

Yeah, they say it'll have a 6.0L V8 producing around 400 HP. I'll believe it when I see it.

The 2010 Mustang is said to take some design cues from the Guigliaro design posted above. But it will still look very much like a Mustang.

I've put several different pics in the Club Newsletters over the last few months. It's only a matter of time before some enterprising spy photographer manages to take a pic of an unwrapped one.

The latest news is that some versions will have a modular motor of 302 cubic inches -- leading to strong speculation that a "Boss 302" edition is in the works. The new standard engine (whether its the 302 or something else) will also incorporate "variable displacement technology" -- that is; turning off cylinders that aren't needed. Power is reputed to be up from current levels. Another "strong" rumor is a turbo v6 for the base model that will have 250+ horsepower.

Of course the recent spike in oil prices could really throw a wrench into the works.
