Pulley Swap on Saleen / 9 psi

I Finally had a chance to get up to Ricks today and had all the Saleen under drives removed and replaced them with the stock one's, went back to the original 3" K. B. blower pulley and finsihed up the fuel pressure gauge hookup..

Kudo's to the Pres. of NHMC ...

Rick made a tuner adjustment with the help of Pete
Next thing you know I'm making about 9 psi

The difference was instant & certainly noticeable...

Even sounds LOUDER & SWEETER!!

Tourque has gotta be up

Gauged it with my Fat As* Meter

I guess we will see on the HP.

Either way I'm done... for now!!..

The #s will say it all when I have it Dyno'd @ Pete's...

Set up the appointment today, he is swamped this coming weekend and I can only do Saturdays so I have to wait to get in on Sat. 14th ..

Ok well finally the Saleen is all done including re-tune , just got back from Pete's a little while ago and I am stoked...

Car is finally performing as it should and the new #'s are in. I actually saw the boost hit 10psi.....

Pre K.B. 235 rwhp / 277 rwtq to 355 rwhp / 358 rwtq , I will drink to that!!

Mark you were almost dead on with your predictions.. I gained another 35 rwhp and 54 rwtq... Nice call..

Pete actually said he kept the tune on the conservative side and could probably squeeze another 20-25 rwhp if I wanted but I opted not too at this point.. I think its just fine as it is!!

I'm stoked and after driving it home from the re-tune, I could feel it even more than when I first got rid of the Under drive pulley's..

I do need to change out my belt though, for some reason I am getting some belt squeeeling out of it when its warming up to temp, then it kind of goes away.. I did have some fraying so I picked up a spare belt just in case.. . Pete did tell me about someone that once spent about $300 replacing pulley's , etc and still had the squeeling , Pete put on a used belt he had and the squeaking went away never to return , so Pete recommended replacing the belt before doing anything else to it, he has seen a simple belt replacement take care of the issue on more than one occasion.

I took a video, my camera skills are pretty weak so I have to try to edit it before posting it up...

Now if I could only hook up at the track .
