Mustang Smokes the Nats.....

At the Laconia Nats burnout box, there was the same ole lame pontiac cop car with what sounded like a flat cammed 305 that could burn the tires to pop with a good line lock, but then this wicked Stang pulled out and put on the show of the day. Didn't get the owners name, but it was whistling pretty good, either turbo or blower...Mustangs rule....

I thaught the summer nationals were pre 72

were there allot of newer cars there too ?

There wasn't any new iron on the show field, but they must have known a good thing and let him heat the meats... I used a wide angle lens for the frame shot. The lens is too much for the picture chip thingeee and the pipe shot is what happens. I like the effect...

Man, I am up here and saw the show signs. I had planned on heading over but next thing I knew the day was over.
The good thing is that we went to Patricks for supper and all the hot rods were there!

that's the single turbo hellion SI97 that I have seen everywhere. That guy has the cobra eater badge on the side of it
