Did 97 GT's have a different spoiler??

I thought V6, GT, and COBRA all had the same spoiler from 96-98??
My COBRA spoiler just has 4 bolts, two on each end, but nothing in the middle.

This thing is an aftermarket spoiler that was actually sold by Ford. I could never figure out why the aftermarket one had the middle support. They're actually fairly common, mostly on V6 94-98 Mustangs. Unclear why a GT would have one.

Maybe it was kicked in the butt and repaired?

nope, the sn95 cobra's had different spoilers than the GT's did

actually, the 94/95 Cobras have the "crab-claw" spoiler with the LED 3rd brake light built into it (which is different than the 94/95 GT) and the 96-98 Cobras have the common 96-98 V6/GT spoiler with the third brake light built into the trunk.

99-01 cobra's have the same spoiler as the V6 and GT.. And the 99-01 cobra hood was later recycled into the 2003-2004 V6 models.. friggin Ford
