YEAH YEAH .. IT WAS AN UNPAINTED HOOD AT THIS POINT .. BUT SCROLL DOWN FOR THE FINAL DESIGN...

By the way, I have a DVD on how to do carbon fiber. It covers overlays as well as full on molded parts. If I ever get around to learning it (and get good) I may do some custom work. I could see a couple of custom pieces that would look cool for your car

Did you have the "sides" of the hood done at all ? I remember you saying you had some plans for that.

Yep.. It's in the shop again getting th ehood done this week..

So far it looks killer..

I'm hoping it will be out and home by Friday so I can prep her up for the Father's Day show. I'm running out of time and still have to put the interior back together.

Hoods done ( 2 shots of clearcoat with UV protection), AutoPaint just finished up and I pick her up later tonight..

Now I can put her interior back in tomorrow.

I don't have any yet.. And I gotta get her ready for Sunday.. It will be at the Father's Day NHMC Show unless it pours out.. I'll def be takin pics there.

I wont be at the fathers day show (my car is a LONG way off from show worthy. I may not "show" at all this season. Cruise nights I will do, however :-)

Unfortunately.. I am waiting for pics to.

I forgot my camera yesterday and hopefully someone (in pity) will post up a pic in here today for all to see..

I got lots of compliments yesterday for sure.. I'm psyched now that it came out like it did. I'm so ready for more shows !!
