Spring Isolators ?

Besides sound/vibration dampening, do the front spring isolators serve any purpose ? IE What are the drawbacks to NOT using them when I install my new springs ?

slightly harsher ride, slightly lower, more harmonics transfered to the body

Didn't use 'em on my GT and didn't notice anything unpleasant in the ride.

thank you. That answers my question. they dont go back in !

You may notice some squeeks when going over bumps.
Oh ya, and buy these Swaybar Endlinks from Energy Suspension. Part # 9.8117. Auto Zone should have them IN STOCK. They're under $20, and you'll have a tighter feel to the steering

they will affect the ride height...alot of spring manfuacturer's design thier drops with isolators in mind....you run the risk of having the car be too low. Also, after some time with the solid rear you will get some squeaks and groans from the metal on metal contact.

When i do my springs in a few weeks, I plan on removing the top rear iso's, but keeping the rest to ensure i have a nice even ride height and no rake.
