so my posi is f-ed...one wheel burnout...and i can feel a difference...when flooring it...what to do? i want my two wheel push back.

Have the rear end rebuilt with new clutch packs. That's realistically all you can do with the exception of welding the differential, which will make it horrible to turn.

You might want to have a shop rebuiild the diff with the FRPP carbon fiber upgrade kit.

so have the differential rebuilt with the carbon clutch packs...and ask them not to weld it? also...how much would i be looking to spend on this? anything else to buy?

No, you don't need to ask them not to weld it. Welding a diff is a very cheap and crappy way of making both wheels spin at the same speed. It's a bad idea, but a lot of dumb and cheap people do it.

I'd say expect to pay somewhere around $300 - $400 or so on labor. And not that you'll necessarily need to, but I'd replace the pinion and carrier bearings while it's out. Again, I've never personally charged anyone for this work, so therefore my labor values are just a rough guess. I'd say call up a shop in your area you trust, and ask them how much it would be. Especially since labor per hour is different everywhere. Just make sure it's a good shop, because it's fairly easy to screw up.
