Hi Everyone,
I went outside this morning and my car is leaking something bright yellow out of my muffler. Can anyone diagonose the problem? Expesnive to fix? Thanks!

Sounds like the muffler bearing is going... You'll need a round tuit to fix that..

Just kidding. I honestly have no idea what fluid would leak from a muffler..

rust colored water?

We got hammered with about 12" of snow yesterday and another 12" today. This was the first significant snow fall that I have drivin the 4X4 in. Today was also the first day I noticed the leak. I'm wondering if it is because their is so much snow under the body of my car that it's causing the rust to drip off. Then it's turning the snow brown/bright yellow. I read this on another forum:

Yes, rusty water. Sometimes it can look neon orange/yellow.

Thanks everyone! I'm diagnosing the problem as just rust/snow for right now. I won't be able to tell for sure until the snow mealts though.

Rick, not to worry...your car just had to pee

The rusty water sounds like the cause to me as well

Hope it's nothing more than that.
