Why not?
Isn't that kinda the point of going?

This is a MUST DO event for all mustang lovers. I went last year and had the time of my life. No where else will you see over 5,000 mustangs gathered together in one location. The events are absolutely phenominal !!!

I am staying at the Boardwalk Beach Resort this year to be closer to all the action. Reserved it for 7/20 to 7/27 !!! This is the ultimate Mustang Cruise Fest....do not miss it !!!!!

check it out...http://www.mustangweek.com/

Have you ever made the drive down there before? I did about 3 or 4 years ago with some friends...F that...it's too long of a drive.

Not to mention I have no desire to put that many miles on my car. I don't have a trailor or a way to get it down there so it's just not going to happen. I am all set with risking anything going wrong on a 15 hr drive.

I did Myrtle in a 99 cougar....

Ive driven alot further than that in less comfortable vehicles ( NH to Wa State in a Jeep)

Me to Fla (and back) in a Reliant K
NH to Fla in an ooold Camry...

Ive gone as far as Maryland/DC in the stang.

The mustang rides like a limo, comparatively.

Ewww!! What would ever possess you to trust a K car across country??

My pop's car has made the trip from NH to Beaufort SC (almost Georgia) for the past 3 summers no problem.

If I'm already in SC maybe I'll go but not making another trip down there. That does seem like a kick ass event!
