Ok well I'm pretty sure on the combo I want but I'd like to hear some of your opinions.

I plan to change the hood to a 95R and either keep the stock front bumper, or do a Cobra. As of now I found both bumpers (OEM) locally for $75.

95R with stock....

OR

95R with Cobra

I know it's kinda tough cause the cars have diff wheels and stances but oh well, best I can get for now. Thanks.
Pj, I know you'll miss the bra....

Liberty Mustang Supply has a new 3" COBRA R with 96-98 scoops. I kinda like it

I dont know if its just cause I like the car better but I like the GT bumper, but either way it will look good.

Cobra bumper and 96-98 style Cobra hood with nostrils

Thats what I'm leaning to. The R hood goes well with it too.

I love that setup, but I think that combo should be left up to the REAL cobras.

Alex, I saw yesterday on craigslist that a guy was selling a used cobra bumper that he began to sand down for $75. At least worth checking out. Go with the cobra bumper and 95 r hood.

I vote for the Cobra bumper....but you knew that already Alex.
The v6/gt bumper just doesn't look wuite right with the R hood for some reason.

Cobra hood/bumper

If you leave the GT emblems on it, i don't see a problem.

99% of people identify a car by emblems anyway. Why do you think V6's put Cobra emblems on their car. Some honestly think there are no other visual appearances

I agree 100%.....I say Cobra bumper and hood...but the GT bumper looks great as well...

One of the reasons I love Mustangs is they are just like Harleys in the sense you can Individualize them.....that is what it is all about....

As long as you like it that is all that matters....(I am deleting my rear spoiler and going for a clean look, I am sure there will be plenty of people that dont like it...but I WILL!!!!)

Thanks for the input everyone! You guys like the cobra bumper huh....I'm still thinking the GT haha .

James, thats one of bumpers I was referring to.

Mike, you're right. I still may go cobra only because that bumper is in Acton and I'm there a lot.

Posted by: TorchRedSVT

cobra hood, cobra bumper. It's the way the car should have looked!!!! Although the GT bumper would be great too. In the end it's your car, do what makes you happy.

Alex, shouldnt you be studying for Finals and not worrying about what bumper/hood combo you are going to run???????????????????????

Another option I see sometimes is guys throw mach 1 chin's on the 94-98 gt bumpers. Doesn't look bad at all and definitely is very unique.

Are you really?
i think that's GREAT.
Have you considered the Capri bubble hatch?
if I ever get another hatch, i'm DEFINITELY going with the bubble hatch!

I'll have to look into those. I've seen a few that look nice, but for the most part they normally just look and fit like crap. It may be because those particular people bought the 99+ chin and jimmy-rigged it to the 94-98 bumper.

Yes I am deleting the wing..I could not decide if I wanted to run the Saleen, Cobra or stock GT wing or even a LX wing...then I saw a couple of drag cars in magazines running no wing and told the wife...that is the look right there I am going for....all the holes in the hatch are being filled in.....

The bubble hatch would be cool and really different.....

Do it bro... Very unique, and subtle mod.

I personally love the look of the wingless fox hatches
My '81 was wingless for a while.

+1 for the GT bumper and R hood.

Thats the plan unless the only bumper I can grab for cheap is that Cobra one in Acton.

I looked at that site. it's kinda shady site. You should call them and ask them if they sell Cervini's hoods.

I say go for it on that hood though. Hey, at least it would be different. NO ONE has that hood.

I'm a diehard fan of our OEM hood though
