Posted by: ad5mustangvert looks like im the only one..or the first one so far...ok here goes..i have a 1967 mustang coupe that im in the process of restoring. i have a hi po 289 with a TON of work done to it. im backing it with a T-5 trans that i pulled out of a junkyard GT, and had it rebuilt. i pulled an 8 inch rear out of a 67 fast back hi po 289 car that im having completly re done with an auburn posi unit with 3:73 gears. i have a slightly upgraded front and rear suspension on it including 1 inch HD lowering coils with KYB gas-a-just shocks in front and KYB's in the back with all poly bushings throughout. shes gona fly, and take the turns. if you wana see pics of my progress so far , let me know.
