James I posted a pretty funny pic of you in the pther thread. LOL

Posted by: Jarhead46

Nice meeting you the other day, was fun getting lost in NH.

Posted by: massmustang02

It was nice meeting you too. That turbo setup was nasty. It definitely was an interesting time riding through NH trying to find our way back.

Posted by: MY-S281

Nothing like getting lost in NH with other Mustangs!!

James, your right, that turbo he has is sweet!!

Posted by: massmustang02

Yeah you'll never hear me complain. I was having too good of a time anyways.

Posted by: Jarhead46

Yea I remember that, jesus that thing is loud.

Posted by: massmustang02

Haha thanks guys. Actually we don't speak with our neighbors across the street(A disagreement in the past) but all the others don't really mind. I live at the top of the hill on our street so my car is under load the whole way up so I know for a fact they our neighbors across the street don't like it and I always get a dirty look from them when I start up the car. But i like it lol and their faces are always priceless.
But to tell you guys the truth I'm actually looking to swap out the mufflers for some flow's. A little too tired of not being able to drive about 2500rpm's in and around town. So we shall see.
And off the tops of your heads anyone know what offset I should go with for the flow's to fit? I know the Super 44's which is what I'm going with have the same length as my LM1's so that's not a worry. I was thinking center in/ offset out since the LM1's are a straight through muffler.

Posted by: badass98svt

The correct sizing is offset in/offest out.

The 2 chamber 40 series is usually the preferred Flow. (That's what i got)

I say go with the Flow!

Posted by: massmustang02

P.J. your car is actually the one that made we want to change. I'm most gonna order those tonight. The 2 chambered one's are loud enough? Remember what I'm switching from lol.

Posted by: badass98svt

Yes, they are plenty loud.
Didn't you think so?
They're loud enough for me to buy Magnaflow's and nearly swap out the Flows.

But I love the sound of my exhaust.

Posted by: massmustang02

I thought they were loud too. I was just wondering what you thought. Cuz you've heard both. It's hard for me cuz I have a totally different sounding car. Original 40's right? Not the Delta Flow 40's.

Posted by: badass98svt

Orig. 40 series 2 chambers.
Lou's exhaust stocks them.

Posted by: EastCoast5.0

They're perfect, they're loud when you want to be and down low it is toleratable. Get the orig 40's.

FYI, I have deltas, still loud enough with o/r h though.

Posted by: massmustang02

Maybe I'll just take a ride over to Lou's tomorrow and find out.

Posted by: MY-S281

PJ your car sounds sweet with the exhaust you have...

Posted by: badass98svt

Thanks guys

Posted by: massmustang02

So I just called Lou's. 2 different locations, Boston and Waltham. Boston wanted $90 a piece and Waltham wanted $125 a piece. I think my best bet is the internet.

Posted by: MY-S281

Hey James ,, were those prices installed?? if not check this out,

saw it on Ebay.,.. I buy everything off of EBay, including my last 2 Mustang Convertibles from Cali. and my LCD HDTV... Did you sign up for Dyno day on Sat??

Not for nothing but, Manchester Lou's gives NHMC members a discount.
PM me and I will show you how to take advantage.

Jim Gillis
NHMC

Posted by: massmustang02

Barry I checked out Ebay and it was one of my choices and no those prices weren't installed. Just over the counter business. With the SLP system its modular so everything is just clamped down so I'm able to switch mufflers in and out at will. I love the tips so that's why I didn't go with a whole new exhaust system. And I was going to sign up today for Dyno Day on Saturday.
Jim wish I saw your post about 5 minutes earlier because I just ordered the mufflers from Summit for $170 including 2nd Day Air. Oh well it's still good to know for future references.

no sweat, let me know if you still need help.
