I installed the Sirius plug and play, the Stratus.
Easier than I thought.
I think I did a good job routing the wires.
I didn't want the antenna on the exterior of the car, so I put the antenna into the well for the carseat hook, removing the hook cover completely.
No wire on the rear deck, and the antenna fits nice and snug for a clean look.
Reception is great.
Also took shot from the other side so you can see where I routed the wires.
The wires from the unit into the crease by the glovebox are all you see.
I'm pretty happy.

Nice

I did sirius in my GT a year ago. I love it. I don't even listen to regular radio or my cd's between it and my Ipod

Nice job.
Did you screw the mount into your dash?

Posted by: Humboldt Stang

No, but I did cut the heads off of a couple of black screws and tape them over the holes.
Looks like they are screwed in.

nice touch

I like that mount. It's a lot more low-key than mine. Problem is i don't really have a flat spot to mount it

There is a company (actually a couple out there) that makes different mounting brackets for the satilite radios. I actually have XM for about 5+ years now and build my own cup holder bracket when I had my escort ZX2. I now have an Escape and use the bracket that comes out of the lighter. It has another outlet so it's not using up an outlet. Looks cool and I didn't have to permanantly attach it to the dash. I will take pics when I get my new camera.
