Three starters put in, the latest was brand new from Ford. Contacts in the starter are welding, causing the starter to keep running. All wiring replaced up to the starter. Not the ignition, because it keeps running if the ignition is disconnected. Any help? I'm baffled!!! Posted by: speedytang Starter Solenoid is your problem and even if you replaced the $10 part before you cooked it and need to replace it again.
