Tell me about it. Try not to laugh but so far I think my best 60' is something around a 2.3

traction is bit of an issue right now. I'm also falling on my face top end, need to put 3.27's back in there. So between traction and gearing I dont think 120mph is completely out of the question.

I've got 3.55's in my turbo setup Kev....have worked fine. Definitely don't want anything more than that though.

3.55s, they would be good for your car cause you have the 4V.

I switched to Nitto D/R's. I'm not yet happy with them. They feel good but my 60 fts suck with them. I am going back to MT ET streets when these are done.

geez, i'm embarrassed to be saying this but I did the first 3 runs ever with my Cobra and the best I could get out of it was 14.607 on 265/35ZR-18 street tires. top MPH was 98.19 and best 60' was 1.951. reaction time best was .532. I don't have a lot of track experience, I took my girls v6 down and it went in the 17's and my Nissan 240sx (AOD) went 15's a few years back. I absolutely KNOW that the Cobra has 13's in it with a good set of drag radials and a bit of weight reduction, not to mention a lot of driving practice on my part--------any other suggestions though??

Get rid of your upper quads in the rear. That will help with your launches and improve your 60 FT times.

You won't notice any difference on the street. Unless you do a lot of hole shots at traffic lights...

a 1.9 60ft on 18'' wheels is pretty damn good if you ask me. I can't do much better than 2.2 or 2.1 on my stock 17" 275's

well I attest the 60' times to the maximum motorsports RLCA's with the FRPP UCA's and upgraded bushings. plus i've got the Tokico shocks/springs in the back. I thought there was actually room for improvement with that 60' time but thanks for the compliment Torch

shall we resurrect this for this season?? starting with first times for my Mystic; 13.8 at 103mph. best 60' was 2.1 and best mph was 105.5......the engine with the new top-end is almost done (wednesday) for my 95 Cobra; looks like i'll get my 13's this year with that car too

Yep, that it sure is. My trap speed is very low for my time actually, due to my gearing. With stock gears, I trapped the same with a 13.8.

YOOOO!!! Wassup Scott?? apparently my trap speed and power are saying high 12's....At least a few people I've talked to seem to think the Cobra is capable of that...guess I need to take a drag racing/driving class
