what is the difference between the SLP LM1 and the SLP LM2 also what catback exhaust will give me that throaty rumble and loud of course but not obnoxious that will be noticeable when im idling or when im on the rd and i expect for ppl to hear it from 40-50 ft away...lol....what would do that?

Posted by: bullitt5177

Loud Mouth 1. Loud Mouth 2 is quieter. Still though, Flowmaster are tried and true mufflers for that old muscle car sound.

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Not a big fan of SLP...especially at WOT

Posted by: ponycrazy2002

why dont u like it at WOT?

Posted by: badass98svt

The SLP LM is VERY raspy.
My vote is o/r H and Flowmaster 2 chambers
You'll definitely notice it at idle, and at 40-50 ft, it'll be heard as well

Posted by: ponycrazy2002

so the flowmaster 2 chamber....whats the name of the catback that offers the 2 chambeR?

Posted by: badass98svt

I THINK it's American Thunder.

Posted by: ponycrazy2002

ive never heard LOUDMOUTHS in person but does it have that throaty rumble and how much louder are the lm1 than the lmII

Posted by: ponycrazy2002

also....when is the differential oil supposed to be changed...automatic transmision oil and all that...i cant find it in the manual...

flowmasters are not my favorite on the 4.6's.......in my opinion they belong on 5.0's

Magnaflow is the way to go for us mod motors....they sound incredible

Bah. My Flowmasters sound AWESOME! Flowmaster Super 40s with MAC O/R H-pipe. I'm not biased either!
Magnaflows sound great too, but Flowmasters sound out-and-out, old skool badass.

Posted by: ponycrazy2002

ahhh thiis is sooo hard to decide.....what about the oil changes on the transmission and differential when do i have to do those?

Posted by: Mustang5L5

Diff is 75K i think..may be more like 100K

Trans is every 30K?

BTW, i have flowmastere American Thunder on my car. I love it

Posted by: bullitt5177

Ok, tranny fluid is every 30k and diff fluid every 150k. Crazy as it sounds, this is direct off the Ford Technician's Website. Anywho, let me see if I can dig up a video of my exhaust. I have Flow 2 chambers and an off road h pipe.

Posted by: bullitt5177

Here we are. Not the greatest, but it is me stomping Jarhead46's turbo GT!! The exhaust is all me though.

^^^^^^^^^^^^
I don't see anything.

Posted by: bullitt5177

My current setup is Mac o/r H pipe and 40 series 2 chamber flows.
Damn it's LOUD.
I have a pair of Magnaflows in my closet that will be replacing my Flows.
