True Blue Night Pics!

I grabbed a tripod this afternoon so I set out to take some night pics. It was my first time, but I did alright. I'm open to any photography pointers! Thanks.

Great photos... I really like the straight on tailight view in the open parking lot! You have to love tripods! I got mine for christmas and I use it every chance I get. I just need a new digital camera and I'll be all set lol.

Yea tripods are KEY. I was never able to take night pics, now I wanna go out every night and experiment lol.

The pictures with the correct white balance look much more professional. I really like the first pic of the drive and parking lot.

Night pics never seem to work out well with P&S cameras, I've had three of them and all the night pictures turn out crappy (yes I use a tripod). I want to get a DSLR for my next camera.
