I like the adjustable idea and at the same time, I don't see myself always adjusting them. The non body roll type of ride is important as well as is comfort. Thanks.... Posted by: Mustang5L5 Adjustable all the way. The only way to really run non-adjustables correctly is to get a matched spring/shock combo where the valving is set to match the spring rates. Since this is pretty tough to do, running adjustables just makes things easier on you. It lets you fine tune your shocks so they work with your spring rates. You don't need to play with it all the time. You just experiment a bit in the beginning to find where the car rides nice but handles well. I've ridden in cars with non-adjustables and aftermarket springs and most have ridden very harshly. Posted by: c_sst Thanks Mike...You just reconfirmed what Carol said...I think that is the route I will take...thanks....and thank you too carol for the info you gave me at carlisle.....now....what brand???? Posted by: BADASS03SVT go adjustable man...much better in the long run. the Tokico's are nice (currently have them) BUT they are only adjustable on the top of the shock. so the hood needs to be open for the fronts (no biggie) and the trunk has to be open for the rears AND they need to be accessible (PITA). Get some Koni's or Strange's and be done with it. you dont have to always ajust them but you find what yo ulike and your done. if you go to the track, swap to the track settings and bam...well worth it Posted by: ZAXJAX QA1 adjustable's Ford Mustang Archive Home | General Tech | 5.0 Mustang Tech | 4.6 Mustang Tech | 3.8 Mustang Tech | 2.3 Mustang Tech | Classic Mustang Tech | Appearance and Sound | Virtual Body Shop | Initiation | The Lounge | The Showroom | Site Suggestions | Mustang Talk | 2005 Ford Mustang | Ford Lightning | Racers Bench | For Sale | Wanted To Buy | Northeast | SouthEast | Central | MidWest | West Coast | NEBOC
