They were working fine until one day i turned the car on and the front door speakers werent working. I did turn the music on full blast for about 1 hour the previous week and i had no problems with the days after. So far i have checked the connections to my sanyo deck, replaced them with wire connectors, but i havent checked the adapters. Anyone got any advice or help with this? the speakers just dont work at all, no noise coming or anything Posted by: Aussie XAXB A real easy trick is to hook up oe of your factory speakers to the wires at one of the blown speaker connections. That will let you know if you have a signal going to the speaker or if the speaker is blown. Steve Posted by: badass98svt So you checked the connections behind the radio. But what about the connection at the actual speakers. I doubt you blew them. When they blow, they'll just make a popping noise, but they'll still play the music. Do the rear speakers work? The fade is set correctly? Posted by: bigjohnson4.6gt i havent checked the actual connections to the speakers yet, but the fade is set as it usually is, when i turn it to the front you cannot hear any music or noise at all, my rear speakers work perfectly along with my sub Posted by: bigjohnson4.6gt it was kind of weird, but one of the wires on each speaker slid off its post, so i reconnected, taped, and put everything back together and its all good now Posted by: badass98svt :.woot.: Posted by: KrazyPony probably due to the vibration from it being turned up so all the gods in heaven could hear it may have had something to do with it...its just a guess here.
