Other than steam cleaning what has worked best for you. Also if you suggest a product could you please disclose where you purchased it if you remember thanx.-Ruz Posted by: badass98svt Alex used some stuff on my carpet and it worked great! I think it was made by Blure Coral. Posted by: MCRPARTS My old carpet was heavily stained.I used the Woolite house carpet cleaner (it foams up) that worked awesome. Posted by: Mustang5L5 Just do what I did. Have a gallon of water spill all over the carpet. Then go to a car wash and vacuum it out! That water was coming out brown. It was an accident, but i'm kinda glad it happened Posted by: Ruzman Thanks Tony,PJ and Mike....I'll check for the Blue Coral and the Woolite house carpet cleaner. As for the gallon-O-water...I'm not quite sure I want to purposely dump a gallon of water onto my interior . Happy it worked out ok for you Mike, though .-Ruz Posted by: Capriman86 Well when I got my GT-350 it was pretty nasty inside. So here are some pics and the items used. 1 - Hoover Steam Vac to suck up water, but you don't have to use one. Just use a Shop Vac/Wet Vac and it will work fine. 2 - Spray bottle mixed with Rug Doctor solution and HOT water. 3 - Spray bottle of straight up Orange Blast by Grease Lightning 4 - Spray bottle with just HOT Water for a rinse. 5 - Soft bristly scrub brush. 6 - Patience, Time and Elbow Grease. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After 8 hours...LOL but it was well worth it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I can't find my drivers seat picture, but it came out just the same...CLEAN! Posted by: Capriman86 Here is my Capri I was just doing this week. I had to take the main carpet out to clean it, cuz it needed the HOSE. Its actually junk and will be replaced. But its alot better now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After the same methods listed above.... ![]() ![]() ![]()
Posted by: Ruzman Ok you win hands down ...the pictures prove the results. Damn good job my friend. I will be purchasing the said products and trying this myself. Thank you.-Ruz Posted by: Capriman86 I am not saying the methods these other guys have used don't work...this is just what I did... ![]() There is another spray I used, but not required....I will find out what it was later today. Posted by: Ruzman I guess it fell under this rule! :tiwwop:..not worthless...I appreciate everyones suggestions. But pictures show the real results and that's tangible. -Ruz Posted by: Aussie XAXB Capriman86, you did AMAZING work on cleaning those interiors. What I've done is just use regular laundry detergent in a bucket of water with a scrub brush. After scrubbing an area I then use a rag/small towel rinsed in clean water to "rinse" out the carpet. Then I use another towell to absorb some of the water out of the carpet. You still have to let it air dry. This has worked very well for me, even on some seats. I didn't have to spend another dollar for anything in particular to clean the interiors.
