Steering fluid leak!!!

I had my car towed yesterday to my workplace after my alternator and battery died on the highway...

the front was lifted by the tow truck...the truck just backed up and these arm thingys went under the car..and lifted the front of my car up

when my buddy drove me down to my work place later that day to install an alternator so I can drive home my mustang..there was a leak of steering fluid

and this morning..I woke up to check my car on my street..and theres another leak under my car...and looks like its dripping from under the right lower pulley area...

would this have anything to do with the tow??

I havent gone under and checked yet..but is this a common leak area and what can I do about it

Alex

Sidenote: car sounds like it has a supercharger whine/stalling sound...horrible sound when i steer right and left

Possibly punctured a return line or the pump itself while he was towing it. The noise is the fact that the pump is a little low on fluid. Not so common with the Mustang pumps (because of the improved vane design), but the slipper pump design Ford had made lots of noise at all times.

all set..i put some needed steering fluid in that had "stop leak" and my cars been fine..no leaks...

tomorrow morning will determine if its completely healed...crossing my fingers hoping I dont see a puddle of steering fluid on the ground again like this morning...

just checked my car a few minutes ago tonite..and still no leak since 3pm
