photoshop question

Okay, I'm slooooooowly learning what to do with photoshop, but one thing is still escaping me.
I can trim around pictures of my car fairly close, but still have a small area of background around them.
How do I get a clean picture of my car with no background?

I'm sure there is a much easier way but what I do is zoom in on the picture to about 600%, then select a small eraser and do it a few pixels at a time You'll end up with a very nice, clean crop.

Okay, I made an easy, cheap-ass sig.
I'd still take help from amyone on creating one for me while I keep working on this.
So much to learn, sometimes I forget which tools to use.
I did use the zoom in, pen tool to outline the image, but now I forget how to cut that image out.

Not to bad for starters... someone will hook you up in this forum

Looks good. Can you repost the original pictures you posted?

The pics are in the thread "new sig?".

Oh, and here are a couple of things I made for my daughter, one of her dog Hunter, and one of her cat Lucky......Lucky of course in the very natural setting of a cat in a mustang convertible in outer space.

Made this for my 7 year old nephew who plays little league and loves the Giants.
Used fading for the first time.
Also, last night I finally used a path with the pen tool instead of the enlarge and erase to extract the picture.
I think that will be easier in the long run but I have to do it a few more times so i don't forget the steps, still don't have it down.

*Had to shrink this down to attach, it's actually much larger.*
