Solarwing II ?

Anyone know what the "wing" is at the top of this Mustang's rear window?
The only thing I can find that is similar is the GTS Solarwing II.
Anyone know for sure?

I dunno, but it's definitely a solar wing.
I would stay far away. Reminds of the cars from my high school when I was there, back in the 90s

bah. I think it looks good on the stang I posted above. If I get it though, it ain't staying "smoke" - I'd get it painted flat black.

Louvers -- LOL -- nothin' says 1980s like louvers. I had louvers on one of my first cars in 1985. (a 1980 Datsun 210.) They don't belong on late model Mustangs. (except maybe Mach 1s)

Well, you all seem to dislike it....
Personally, I'm not sure -- on the one hand, I DO think it looks cool -- and would look even better as a painted piece, not just translucent "smoke" tint. But on the other, I am strongly considering selling the Stang this fall and picking up a Terminator over the winter -- so $85 plus painting does seem like a bit of a waste.
