Got to do a little TLC with the Capri last night

She is at a performance shop for stangs today as she doesn't like to run very smooth.....

but I got to do a little TLC yesterday...

Got the hood and fenders wet sanded and buffed.
Got the hood scoop installed....

Painted scoop, hood grilles, cowl, window trim, wiper arms, front grill, headlight buckets and headlight/grill bay area....

I am fixing 2 small cracks in the air dam with SEM bumper repair.
Need to sand and recoat 1 more time.

Used SEM Charcoal and SEM Black Trim

Then all the trim will be repainted...

Thanks....she is back to normal!!

There was a short in the main harness to injector #2 and it wasn't getting fuel. It also took out the ECU.....guy in Milford Ma, CE Racing fixed it from me at a GREAT price!!!!!

I am so happy...she goes so good now!

Gotta love SEM paints. It's a great product.
Where did you buy your paints?

Are you repainting the air dam with the sem, or are you getting it painted at a shop?

I get all my SEM and paints at a local shop in Milford MA call B&T Autobody Supplies.

I will be doing the whole air dam with the SEM spray bombs...coats so well!

I have used SEM for interior redying, fog covers, etc....works great!

Got some more done today....

Had 2 cracks in the lower air dam....

Used SEM 2 part bumper repair, little fiberglass filler...and walla.

Little humid out today so I had to stop painting.... brought
it in the garage with the dehumidifier and a heater going...I was able
to finish. Used SEM Charcoal 39153 Bumper Coat.

I will back it out tommorrow for a second pic. This way I will have
the marchal's back in.

Oh...I restored a set of marchal covers for her as well. I have 2 NOS sets of lights....but may just sit on them for now.

Painted the marchal lights...no pics yet....and here are before and afters of the covers I will use. My $15 covers...

Got the tail light buckets just about done.
Little more to do on the drivers side to meet my approval.
That will be done tomorrow.

Tail light ribs will also be painted tomorrow...just got to mask them up.

Both doors are repainted and the lower lips have the rust removed, and new seam sealer applied.

I will get better all around pics once she's done....his some garage pics for now.
