I've been polishing metals for my own car for a few years now, and recently have taken on doing work for others and online resale. I specialize in Fox body 5.0 parts, but will do nearly anything. I've done the top end to a 4.6 Cobra, various parts from 4.6 GTs, and so on. If you have any interest or questions, feel free to post them here or PM me. Or you can email me direct, dave@ soniccherry.com (close the space). You can see my going rates for the most popular parts HERE. Here's some of my work to show what I can do for you ![]() First off, my engine. Yes some of it is chrome but they've been pre-polished by me where applicable. The rest was me, even the stuff that was "polished" from the factory was redone properly: ![]() And some misc work I've done for other enthusiasts: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Posted by: bdass92 How much to polish a BBC water pump? Posted by: Ozz No water pumps, sorry. Stock valve covers and alternator/smog brackets are also out due to the grade of metal used. It's not worth it to me (patience, time, etc.) to spend so much time on them to make it work. I always suggest powdercoating such items, especially when you won't be able to really keep up w/upkeep on them due to being partially hidden. That's the one downfall with polished stuff, anything unreachable (lower intakes are another big one) will eventually dull out and look terrible by comparison. Sorry.
