The car BLEW UP!!!

well not exactly, but the tranny sure did! it is raining so i havent been able to pull it but basicly i think the graes are stripped and the transmission is a bolts bucket, will be looking for a new tranny

and i just paid it off 2 months ago!!!

i havent messed with the transmission, my working theory is since the car set 1 year the seals leaked out oil tranny with no oil = boom

yeah it has been a bad month, after buyin my guns, my bar broke, my tooth went bad (had to have a root canal), got stuck in the rain and the bike wouldnt start and my phone got wet and had to get a new one cuz it broke.

all in all about $3,000 in unexpected expensise, i a broke and slowly fixing stuff...

Sounds like you have my luck...

My luck is so bad- I could fall into a barrell of boobs and come out sucking my thumb !

well i got a transmission for the mustang this weekend slapped it in and found the clutch is bad also, clutch is on order with any lich the car will be up and running by the end of the month

yeah i am excited it will finally be back up and running, been looking at that 4.2 in the garage i never got fixed up wandering how it would run with that engine in it......maybe new cam and heads....

just dreaming......

well the clutch and transmussion are finally in, got 2 new tires in the back and it is up and running!!!

spend all washing, claybaring, waxing the exterior, vaccumed the interior and shampooed it all our, removed the seats and vacumed under them and it is working and looking like new again

the cd player is not working any more tho so i am thinkin of going through all the sterio and upgrading it, the 2 jl subs in the back need some good mids and highs up front.....

any one who knows bout sterios i would appriciate some input, i have an idea of what i want, but im not the quickest when it comes to sterios

well i have gotten the sterio back up and running ......pioneer 4800 head unit, jl audio 450x4 amp, mb quart refrence 6x8 speakers and 500x1 jl audio am and 10x3 subs in the back.....

clear as a whisle and i can hook up my mp3 player now!

oh and i have been cleanin up the engine bay, replacing all that little stuff, found a bad spark plug wire, tightened up exhaust manifold bolts...putting wireloom on exposed wires, ect.....

may be a good old reliable car once again!

That thing must've been one hell of a sleeper with the turbo on it!! How much power did you make with it??

yeah not a lot of people expecte the turbo, it made 350 rwhp

i got rid of it becasue it kept on melting things under the hood, and it would overheat with ac on...just wasnt designed for the texas heat.....
