It's a gamble really. We in our lifetimes will NEVER live on the moon. Unless aliens come down from space and offer to immediately give us warp technology and the ability to colonize we are stuck here for a while.

If this truely is legal, it would only benefit our future offspring. They pass the title down over the years and maybe 200-300 years from now that joke peice of land you bought ends up being your winter getaway when they colonize and reatmospherize the moon??

For all we know in the future our great great great great great grandkids are wondering why YOU didn't buy a peice when it was cheap!

It's only $30...maybe i'll buy an acre or two? I just want to know is this actually legally binding??

I didn't think of it like that... you guys make valid points. Hundreds of years from now if we do end up living on the moon and if the land sky rockets to tens of thousands an acre... that would be a great investment for our future generations since it's only $30 now.

Exactly, it may be silly and pointless to us, but who knows what will happen hundreds of years from now. Colonizing the moon is a good possibility.

They also offer land on Mars.

I'm seriously considering picking up an acre. So far it seems like they are recognized by the US and Russian gov'ts.

I'm not sure... I still think it's a little out their. Because lets say they do start something on the moon hundreds of years from now. They aren't going to give 'rides' to whoever wants to live up their. They will probably send selected individuals up their to start a colony. Then they will just keep reproducing and growing. So even if you bought land on the moon... would your own future generations get to live up their?

Who knows whats going to happen or how there going to go about doing this but for $30 it may be worth a shot. If it works out then your great great great grandkids will be all set, if not then they will know you as the crazy great grandfather that bought property on the moon LOL
