My absolute favorite DVDs would have to be Final destination 1, Final Destination 2, and Final Destination 3! What about you? What are your favorites?

I'm gonna go against the grain here. I'm a comedy fanatic.

Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail
Team America
Talladega Nights
Anything Quentin Tarantino makes
Anything Kevin Smith makes

Posted by: badass98svt

Who the hell is Kevin Smith???

Posted by: bullitt5177

He plays Silent Bob. But we wrote and directed Clerks, Clerks II, Mallrats, Jersey Girl, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

The best horror film of all time would be Dead End

Best "show off" DVD of all time is the Superbit Edition of The 5th Element. (and the movie is great too.)

Some of my other favorite DVDs: (these aren't necessarily my favorite movies, but great looking/sounding DVDs, regardless of the story. Although most of them are good movies too.)

Aliens
Ronin
To Have and Have Not (great old B/W classic with Bogart and Bacall)
Star Wars
Almost Famous
Lost in Translation (fantastic cinematography)
Stargate
Lost In Space movie (bad movie, great Special FX)
Star Trek VI
Terminator
Ice Age 1 and 2 (yep, I've got a kid, but it's funny and the computer graphics are cool!)

I'm sure I've forgotten some.....

.

You have so much to learn young grasshopper.

Dead End is a suspense movie, not really "horror".
If it WERE a horror movie, it definitely wouldn't be #1.
What about the classics like Halloween and Friday the 13th?

Yep -- my daughter got that one for Christmas. I liked it, but I think Ice Age is better. We watched Over The Hedge on the smaller TV though, so I can't say if it is really well produced -- I'll have to crank it up on the Home Theater to really tell.
Other recent good-for-grown-ups-too kid movies on DVD: Lilo & Stitch, Monsters Inc., Toy Story. Cars was good, not great -- but had some hysterical NASCAR jokes and voice cameos.
