Yeah, I like street racing.

I wonder if anyone of you ever took part in one?
Well, I did.
But I want driving, a pal of mine was.

(I am the only one of the party that doesnt really know much about cars )

So, how about you?

I was in one back when I was in high school with my buddy Josh. We live about 20 minutes or so from our school and he was driving in Camaro. Us two were in the same car and our other two friends were in their car. We agrreed that as soon as the bell rang we were to run outside to our cars, hop in, and see who can beat eachother home.

Each of us ran as fast as we could through the hals to get to the cars (Because we made it as soon as we got both people in the car... we were alowed to leave.)

It was very fun coming home... passing one another in the roads lol

I can neither confirm nor deny that I spanked a Civic ,with some kind of SC under its hood, with my 99 Mercury Cougar when I had it...

When i was younger i used to do it. Even got caught.

Nowadays I have more fun baiting people on the street and letting them run off into the distance by themselves.

Just last night i got a civic and an eclipse to try to race me at a light. WHen it turned green they both took off on their own and i stayed there and then took off slowly like a grandma.

I try to make it look like i never had any intention of racing, but give them enough to convince them to go

Very stupid of me, but I have been known to partake every once in a while.

Posted by: Rick Sample

I learned my lesson the first time... never again will I do something so stupid lol.

There is a difference between baiting ricers at a stop light and full out tear assin' down the road WOT. It's the high speed stuff on busy streets that is very dangerous. A short 1/4 mile blip on the highway for the most part doesn't hurt anyone...of course there are always exceptions.

Keep it to the track. Unless you know the pack of cars you are with and can anticipate each and everyone's move, don't do it. On our cruises we will do a little side by side action on the highway but never when other traffic is around, just us, that way if we screw up, we only hurt ourselves not an innocent family driving along.

Exactly.

I'm not going to say I've never done it.
But I definitely DO NOT advise.
It only takes a split second to totally change your life

Intimidation is half the race

have you ever used Nitrous while street racing. I currently dont have enough money to get a kit installed so i want to know if it gives you a large speed boost to make it worth it money?

Posted by: badass98svt

Yes, Nitrous gives a large boost.
What kind of car do you have?

Posted by: KartRacer39

I ran once in Mexico of course.....

I'm not to sure if it would be wise to take that chance though.

My thoughts exactly! It isn't worth the extra second or two.
