Shotgun Mustang Conversion

Anyone ever hear of one of these conversions? trying to help a customer restore this rare car.Here's some inf and pics about it.

I'm wanting to find info and especially the ground effects because i want to put the car back as close to original as possible. the car is 2.3 motor with a t5 trans. the second vin # is SGCM68007 i think. The passenger side / side skirt is like the drivers side skirt with the shotgun decal on them. The spoiler is original to the car on the trunk. rumor is they made 25 4 cyl and 75 302 V/8's. I will try to get pics of vin tag and interior when ican. Dealer decal says it was sold at JACKY JONES FORD in Cleveland, GA. If you need any mors question answered email me any time. Looks like an LX 5.0 notch with GT rims and side skirts and an aftermarket spoiler.

Never heard of a Shotgun, but I remember a lot of dealers did their own "packages" back in the 80s. A friend of mine had a 5.0 T-Bird with lots of ground effects and added performance parts that was a dealer package.
I also remember some New England dealer made a "Interceptor" Mustang out of the 87 model GT, that was all gun-metal gray, debadged and mildly modded. Only markings on it were a interceptor badge on the back. Only ever saw one. Was freaking cool though....

Was it a Turbo 4 or just a normal i-4? I forget what you said yesterday, lol.

Any "underhood pics?
The front bumper is apparently missing a lower valance. You can see where the paint is gone from the 2 sided tape.
I'm gonna see what I can find. I love the coupes...

HI Pj, I called them but, it's a dead end.Was told that there are a few runnin around down south ,but the parts source was a shady guy and he's vanished.

Did they tell you what was on the front bumper?
It couldn't have been a GT nose, because it's only missin the lower valance. The GT bumpers were an entire bumper.
Xenon, Saleen and some others make a lower valance that attaches like that.

Those pics are kinda weird.

Never heard of a Shotgun Mustang as a factory ford vehicle. It may be a dealer special as there were quite a few of these around the country going on.

If i could see the pics I could have a better idea of what is going on
